Q. Will there be a Collector’s Edition for each volume of Scott Pilgrim Color Edition?
A. Yes, that’s the plan.
Q. Can I get a ‘regular edition book’ with the collector’s edition? I like the Scott cover better.
A. I don’t think you can swap the book out, but I have to tell you that the back cover of the Evil Edition shows the full Scott art from the regular edition (ie there’s no text on the back cover, just a huge picture). It looks really cool. I don’t have a photo in front of me, you’ll just have to believe me. If you really want the Scott cover, maybe you can swap with a friend who wants the Patel cover later!!!
Q. Will the color edition be coming out in the UK? Spain? Mexico? Brazil? Germany? Etc?
A. We are still talking to the international publishers but hopefully I’ll know more very soon!
Q. Is the Collector’s Edition exclusive to Comic Con? Can I get it online??
A. As the original post said, copies of Collector’s Edition are being reserved for sale on onipress.com on August 8, 2012! Both the Evil Edition and Collector’s Edition will DEFINITELY be available for sale online on that day, although the Collector’s will probably sell out pretty quickly (there will be no more than 500 copies for online sale).
Q. Will onipress.com ship worldwide?
A. Whether you can order it from your country depends on the publishing deal in your country, which is still being worked out (see previous question). I’ll try to let everyone know before August 8th.
Q. How much does the ‘regular’ Color Edition cost?
A. The normal (hardcover, 6”x9”, full color) edition comes out on August 8th and will be $24.99; the Evil Edition (same but with a special cover) is $40 and only available at conventions or via onipress.com (also on August 8th).
Q. What about digital? Can I get it on ipad? kindle? etc?
A. The color editions will definitely be available via Comixology, which is available on many platforms. I’m not sure about other methods yet and I don’t know the pricing yet!(photo by Charlie Chu)
